This
area
is a
National
Trust
protected
area
of
Outstanding
Natural
Beauty,
and as
such
boasts
some
of the
most
captivating
views
the
island
has to
offer.
Compton
beach
itself
in
un-commercialized.
Downland
walks
with
stunning
views
over
the
island
start
right
from
our
door.
In our
own
gardens
and
woodland,
native
red
squirrels
and
pheasants
live,
and
are
commonly
seen.
A
four
minute
walk
up the
road
will
lead
you to
the
adjacent
hamlet
of
Hulverstone
(1/2
mile)
. The
hamlet
has
its
own
traditional
English
Pub,
The
Sun
Inn,
offering
traditional
ales
and
homemade
food.
